Make short work of it.

Seize enormous savings potential, increase customer satisfaction and reduce errors, throughput times and stress on employees. Through the digital automation of your business processes.

What is automation?

Digital automation leads your company into the future. It takes over activities from everyday routine tasks to complex processes and carries them out automatically. This improves transparency and responsibilities, records data precisely and makes it available to the relevant people whenever it is needed.

It helps to replace manual processes and thus increase efficiency, minimize costs, increase security and optimize processes. Sources of error are minimized, data is stored where it is needed and you have more time for important tasks.

The special thing about it: it works without complex and costly adjustments to the existing systems and infrastructure.

This gives you more time to move your business forward instead of just managing it.

Both have advantages and disadvantages, but almost every scenario can be solved with at least one of the two.
I will advise you exactly which technology is best suited to your requirements and requirements.

I work with two different technologies. Both have advantages and disadvantages, but almost every scenario can be solved with at least one of the two. I will advise you exactly which technology is best suited to your requirements and requirements.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

RPA uses small programs called robots. In contrast to a physical robot, however, these are digital.

You can imagine these digital “helpers” like a virtual employee. Just like a normal employee, the robot is “trained” once for the tasks that it is supposed to do and then knows exactly how to do them correctly. In the event of exceptions to the regular process, it can inform a real employee, for example.

The robot automatically accesses existing applications such as SAP, ERP, CRM, & merchandise control systems and or office programs and uses them like a normal employee on the screen. In this way, media disruptions can be overcome without having to create interfaces.

RPA can automate various processes, such as data collection and comparison, accounting, reporting, and employee onboarding.

Cloud Automation

With cloud automation, similar to RPA, processes can be linked across the boundaries of different programs without having to adapt them.

However, unlike RPA, cloud automation requires a connection to the internet. In addition, work is not carried out on the screen and user interface, but like in a control center.

For example, program A can send a request to the control center. The control center then automatically contacts program B, collects the requested data and transforms it in a way that program A can process.

In addition, the control center can automatically react to events such as incoming e-mails, appointment requests or the start and end of a process and then trigger processes in other programs.

In general, cloud automation is particularly suitable for automating processes that run over the internet.

Examples of automation

There is almost no limit to what can be automated. Below are just a few examples:

Redundant and frequent tasks

Bookings and orders

Process control and screening

Retrieval and recording of client or patient data

Examination, validation and completion of documents

Forms, evaluation and feedback

Quality management & assurance

Data collection & comparison

Organization and file storage

Interfaces and synchronization between various systems

Research and search tasks

Sales tasks and controlling

Appointments & reminders

SAP, ERP, CRM, PIM & merchandise management systems

My offer: Digitization & Automation on Demand

I have conducted countless automation projects with both medium-sized companies and large corporations.

Two central problems became clear to me:

Digitization and automation are not one-time activities, but a continuous process. Classic projects are therefore no longer up-to-date due to their long planning phases and fixed duration.

The alternative to this – in-house experts – are difficult to find and for many companies it is not worth setting up their own team.

It therefore requires a special offer for companies that solves both problems: digitization & automation on demand.

Comparison of offers

Below you will find a comparison of the usual offers with my offer:

The usual offers

My offer

Q

Big investment

The offers from classic agencies and consultancies are aimed at commissioning larger projects. Lengthy phases of coordination are also priced in.

R

Affordable pricing

Strong focus on the essentials, lean structures and a real agile way of working enable prices far below the usual project budgets.

Q

Long planning & duration

Before the start of the project, the strategic direction, planning and budget are set in countless workshops and committees. After approval, many things are set in stone for years.

R

Risk-free test run & high flexibility

Instead of endless planning, a risk-free automation is implemented. A decision is then made as to whether to pull the plug or automate other processes.

Q

Big & permanent adjustments

In a number of departments, permanent changes must be made before the first automation takes place. A change to the previous state is often not possible.

R

Fast results without adjustments

The existing processes, programs and IT infrastructure do not have to be adjusted in order to achieve measurable results quickly. Changes are usually reversible.

Q

Unclear responsibilities & communication

Technical jargon and changing contacts are not uncommon when working with large agencies and consultancies, and employees often have no direct communication channels.

R

Fixed contact person & direct contact

You and your employees always have access to a fixed contact person who explains facts without technical jargon and takes into account the wishes of all relevant people.

How do I work?

I will advise you comprehensively and fully implement the automation for you. Apart from coordinating with me, you and your employees don’t have to worry about anything.

I know from a number of projects: the decisive factor for success in digitizing and automating processes is never the technology, but always the people for whom it is used.

For this reason, my entire approach is optimized so that precisely these people are the first to recognize the benefits of automation for themselves, without having to make a major change.

In addition, automation is not an end in itself, but should always be driven by operational and strategic added value. Good advice is therefore important before automation is implemented.

About Philip Laskowski

About Philip Laskowski

After finishing his degree in information systems in Cologne, he began his career at the interface between classic management consulting and software development.

There he carried out the requirements analysis, technical conception, coordination and implementation of customized automation of business processes for over 100 large corporations and medium-sized companies.

Many of these customers were large DAX corporations, but also medium-sized companies and agencies. He acted as a link between technical development and their non-technical counterparts and managed projects ranging from a handful to several hundred person-days.

Driven by the desire to found his own company, he was responsible for the product and the technology in two different startups in the following years.

After many years both in projects and in product development, automation on demand has emerged or him as the ideal model for bringing the best of both worlds together.

Can my processes be automated?

I will advise you comprehensively and specifically address your processes, requirements and wishes. You can already find out which of your processes can be automated in the free potential check.

How does automation deal with exceptions and errors in our processes?

Automation can learn just like a normal employee how to deal with exceptions and errors. She can also take care of all normal cases and, in special cases or in the event of an error, inform another employee who only steps in in exceptional cases.

How long does an automation take?

The implementation usually takes a few days to a few weeks. If possible, a short automation is always started in order to see results quickly.

How will my employees react?

As a rule, employees in particular react positively to automation, as they are the first to feel the relief in their daily work and like to hand over “annoying” tasks to their new digital colleague.

Of course, it can happen that employees are skeptical at the beginning. From my many years of experience, I know exactly how to deal with it and ensure early acceptance.

Is automation a one-size-fits-all solution?

No. A bad process is not made better by being automated. Therefore, the existing processes should always be carefully analyzed first.

What does an automation cost?

That depends on your specific requirements. In the free potential analysis, we will be happy to clarify what effort I estimate for your project.

The most important thing is the ratio between costs and savings potential. If I do not see sufficient potential, I will let you know in the first interview.

Do we have to change our entire IT now?

No. On the contrary. One of the great advantages of automation is that it can be implemented without complicated adjustments to the existing IT.

The technology automatically accesses existing applications and uses them like a normal employee. The software robot works at the user interface level and automatically executes structured processes. Media disruptions can be overcome without interfaces having to be created in lengthy work and at high costs.

I am sceptical. Could we go back to our old processes if automation doesn't appeal to us?

In the vast majority of cases, automations are reversible. If this is not the case, this will be communicated before I start the implementation.

What is the difference between digitization and automation?

Digitization is the use of digital technologies to modernize business processes and create new opportunities for sales and value growth.

Automation means being able to handle processes with little or no human interaction.

Have further questions?

"A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that works. A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be made to work."
